Smacking gum and loudly popping bubbles during a public performance is rude.

I found a whole blog on the topic: http://ask.metafilter.com/71507/What-do-you-consider-to-be-proper-gumchewing-etiquette -It appears to be a very contentious issue. Personally, I think that dealing with the violator via a Medieval "on the spot correction" with a flanged mace would be suitable for the infraction.
ReplyDeleteI have become more temperate on the issue in my old age, and I will allow that it is dependent upon the circumstances. During a play, I will allow no leeway: keep your mandibles quiet!
